Can she get any worse? She’s not even supposed to be in that early. That’s so lame. You should own next time she tries to pull something like that.
So my husband and I are trying to stick to a running schedule. This schedule involves getting out on the path by like 5:15 and covering three miles. We run twice during the work week, so this means that rather than getting in at 7:00, I get in at 7:30. I already told my boss this would be happening and he said it was cool.
Well my coworker had something serious come up today and she can’t come to work. She called our other coworker and asked to speak to me since she didn’t remember my number. The coworker she spoke to loudly announced that I had come in late, but that I was at my desk now. I had been in the office for over an hour when she did that.
You know, that’s just lame. First of all, if our boss doesn’t have a problem with me coming in at 7:30 twice a week, she shouldn’t either. Second of all, when she snuck out TWO HOURS early yesterday afternoon (our boss is on vacation this week), I didn’t run around the office broadcasting that information.
I’m so tired of office politics.
